What is a CV?
A CV is an easy-to-read summary of your education, qualifications and work experience.You use it to show all your strong points so that an employer can see quickly and easily whether you have what they’re looking for.
A good CV can improve your chances of getting an interview.
When do I send a CV?
Lots of job adverts ask you to send a CV with your letter of application.
It’s also a good idea to enclose your CV if you’re sending a speculative letter.
If an employer asks you to fill in an application form, don’t send your CV. The form will have all that they need to compare applicants.
What does a CV look like?
It should be:
