  • e2e is ideal if you’ve not yet decided what job or course you want to do or if you've not yet got the skills, qualifications or experience you need to start a job, Apprenticeship or college course.
  • e2e programmes are tailored to suit your individual needs, so the length can vary. Most young people stay on e2e for around 22 weeks - by which time you should be ready to progress into work or college.
  • as well as working towards a qualification, you can try out different work and learning situations.
  • activities can include work tasters and work placements, on-the-job training, practical skills, team building exercises, basic reading, writing and number work (if needed), one-to-one coaching, group activities, e-learning, volunteering,  outward bound type activities, and job skills workshops.
  • e2e programmes may take place in a range of in-door and out-door settings.
  • e2e is intended to develop your motivation and confidence. It will also help you build skills that you can use in the workplace, known as ‘Key Skills’ and ‘Skills for Life’.
  • e2e is open to young people aged 16-18 who’re not already in a job or at school or college.
