Extra help for Year 11 leavers
Still not decided what you want to do or how to make it happen? Don't worry. Every young person who’ll be finishing Year 11 this year is guaranteed to receive the offer of a place on an appropriate course at school, college or with a training provider by the end of September. This is called the September Guarantee.
In some cases, the starting date might be after the end of September – but it should be no later than the start of the January term. The offer could be full-time education, an Apprenticeship / Programme Led Apprenticeship, or e2e.
