While still in learning, your son or daughter may want to get a part-time job. As well as bringing in extra cash, part-time work can help them to develop useful work-related skills that will help them in their future career.

A Connexions Personal Adviser will stay in touch with you and your son or daughter until they are 19 years old (25 if a young person has learning difficulties/disabilities). So if their choice of job or training doesn’t work out for them, or if they want to look at other careers or training options,we will be on hand to help them decide what to do next..
