Connexions Staffordshire

What is Connexions?

Connexions is a free and friendly service providing information, advice, guidance and practical support to young people living in Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire.

Our service is available to all 13 - 19 year olds (and up to the age of 25 for young people with learning difficulties and/or disabilities).

Whether your son or daughter is at school, college or university, in training, employed, or out of work, we are here to help them make informed decisions about their future. We can also help them to cope with things they may be worried about. Find out more about our work with young people.

How do we work with Parents / Carers?

Parents and carers are the most important influencers in young people’s lives. We can give you up-to-date information on the type of things that affect young people, such as:

  • qualifications and careers
  • education, training and employment
  • money available for study
  • …and much more.

Connexions Personal Advisers are available at school / college, at parents’ evenings and careers events or simply call in to see us at your local Connexions Centre.

Help for Adults

As well as supporting young people and their parents and carers, we also provide a range of services to help adults into learning and work. Visit our Adults section for more information.
